Earth Day Restoration & Cleanup
Volunteer at the 20th Annual Earth Day Restoration & Cleanup
North Jenner Beach & Estuary
Saturday, April 21, 2018
8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
In partnership with California State Parks Foundation, Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods coordinates an annual volunteer-led Sonoma Coast beach and estuary cleanup in honor of Earth Day. These efforts, focused in the town of Jenner, are designed to purge the large amounts of debris that collect at the river mouth during winter storms. The project is accomplished with the help of Watertreks, a local kayak outfitting company, where volunteers load the debris on canoe barges and transport it to the Jenner boat launch area to be properly disposed of.
Join us on April 21 to restore and care for our precious Sonoma Coast!
